Management & Demolition/Refurbishment Asbestos Surveys

HSE Control of Asbestos 2006 requires owners and occupiers of non-domestic premises, who have maintenance and repair responsibilities for those premise to carry out their duty to assess them for the presence of asbestos and the condition of that asbestos.

The Type 2 Survey has been revised as 'The Management' Survey,placing greater emphasis on the need not only to locate & assess asbestos but to ensure that it is effectively managed.         

The Type 3 Survey has been revised as 'Refurbishment / Demolition' Survey. See  HSE- HSG 246
